Microneedling For Hair Loss

Prudent MD of Iselin, NJ Now On-Board With Dermapen

The Dermapen is the most exciting recent innovation in skin rejuvenation. It is a micro-needling device with a unique tip that provides exceptional results, and can treat a number of different skin conditions.
Some of the advantages of this treatment are:

•              Short treatment times
•              Virtually no downtime
•              Minimal discomfort
•              Safe on all skin types

Skin conditions are treated with fractional dermabrasion using the Dermapen micro-needling device. These treatments provide superior or similar results as IPL, laser resurfacing, chemical peeling with hardly any downtime and lower cost. The Dermapen treatments stimulate natural collagen and elastin production in the skin.

Micro-needling is used for skin tightening, lifting and rejuvenation. These treatments help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, improve stretch marks, minimize acne pore size, improve surgical and acne scars.

How Does Micro-needling with Dermapen Work?

The purpose of micro-needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy), is to stimulate the production of new collagen, using our skin’s ability to heal itself. The tiny needles used in micro-needling make microscopic channels in the skin, triggering the body’s healing response: it stimulates the skin to regenerate and repair itself naturally. Your skin reacts to any injury by initiating the healing process. You are essentially encouraging your skin to continue healing through this micro-needling process. The result is increased blood supply to the skin layers and the formation of more collagen and elastin (which give your skin elasticity and firmness). Dermapen helps optimize this process.
